Where were you when you realized the C7 is an S2000?
Please enlighten me, other than being and FMR layout how is a C7 an S2000?

both are gay
>>17509754
Not as gay as you, sadly
Sadly the lt1 has a lol can't rev pushrod v8 and is pigfat
Great thread, OP. Really good stuff
>>17509956
who needs to rev when you have displacement
>>17509769
Kek
>>17510061
Who needs displacement when you have revs?
>>17510079
the LT1 has way more power
>>17510082
And the S2000 is lighter
>>17510093
sounds like the S2000 could use an LT1 swap
>>17510099
why arent we funding this
>>17510082
The LT1 is also like 15 years newer. A better comparison would be the LS1 from around the same time that only made like 100bhp more to move a car that was 500lbs heavier
In the end they're different ways to reach similar track times
>>17510099
It would piss so many people off, I love the idea

>inferior pushrod engine
why?
>>17509660
The way that C7 is almost touching the curb triggers my OCD.
>>17512415
pushrods are god tier
>>17512450
nope, they are inferior to OHC, there is a reason only a few brands use them
>>17512466
the reason so few brands use them is because everyone else can't design them properly
>>17512475
nope, the reason they don't use them is because 4 valves per cylinder allow for more valve area, and OHC allows for a more controlled valve lift
keep defending inferior technology though
>>17512491
you can have 4 valve pushrod engines
>>17512532
yes, along with all the disadvantages of OHV and OHC aswell, 4v pushrods are the worse
>>17512491
>700 hp on pump gas without blowing up
do that in a OHC and then we'll talk
>>17509722
>fmr
there's that meme again, it's an FR anon get over it. FR, MR, RR, that's all the *R's taken care of.

>I have no idea what I am talking about
