Bought a 2017 STI after a random recommendation on /o/.

I absolutely can not tell you how much I love this car. I have a Mustang 5.0 and Red Sport Q60- this is the best time you can have behind the wheel.

I'd say the issue with these cars is that they weigh a shit ton and have low horsepower compared to equivalent weighted cars. The price for the base is very reasonable though.

Own a Legacy GT and Outback XT. Same as WRX in concept. I love them. The Outback XT especially I absolutely fell in love with. I've always had impractical sports cars that are fucking useless even in rainstorms let alone anything worse. I needed something that was practical and capable without sacrificing too much speed and handling.
I love having cars that I know are capable of handling snow while also handling offroad and back roads. They are wonderful all-weather performance cars.

There is no turbo lag on the WRX, if you're talking about the STI then yes, turbo lag is noticable there but on the WRX the turbo is small enough where its not an issue

This retard just thinks that power and weight on their own are the most important things and wants to use straight line times to justify a car beyond anything else like you said. The wrx is capable of so much more than the camry in terms of raw performance whether on suboptimal road conditions, dirt or track appearances. He fails to recognize the wrx has more performance in mind for its suspension and purpose than the camry that's more suited for day to day driving comfort.
