what does this stand for?
fi·at
[ˈfēˌät, ˈfēət]
NOUN
a formal authorization or proposition; a decree:
"adopting a legislative review program, rather than trying to regulate by fiat"
an arbitrary order:
"the appraisal dropped the value from $75,000 to $15,000, rendering it worthless by bureaucratic fiat"

Seriously though for anyone who wants the real answer it's Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino, which means unreliable piece of shit in Italian.

Italy doesn't have as big a migrant problem as the rest of Europe though. They get off the boat in Italy, look around and realize they haven't left the third world, so they keep going north.

He was implying that the previous poster for being angry that their Northern European country is filled with immigrants while Italy is relatively unaffected, and venting their anger on Italy by calling it third world. In reality I am actually an American and shitposting for and against Fiat in this very same thread.

I own a 2012 fiat 500, 1.4L multiair, 5sp manual. I really love that car. I've had it since new, and I still get great enjoyment out if driving it every day. It isn't fast or overly comfortable but I enjoy the way the ticky engine sounds, it's fine in Canadian winters (I use the block heater when it gets below -10C).
For what it is, if take it over an equivalent Honda or Toyota or whatever any day.

ayy limoni my dude, the high seating position in the 500 really is not my favourite thing, but the rest is ok. when driving over cobblestone roads it is a bit harsh/rattling but other than that it is fun

Anyone taken the back seats out of their 500?

It takes americans to fuck up cars as simple as fiat.
