Over the past 5 days their stock price has dropped 20%. The market cap, or what the market sees the value of the company, has therefore dropped by about 10 billion dollars. Market cap is total shares x share price. Market cap is often used by a company for loans and such.

Is it really a big deal, probably not over time, if I owned tsla, or if I was a high up in the company my biggest concern would be that the interiors are dog shit.

The stock is tanking because other automakers are muscling in on the "luxury electric car" meme. Volvo has also recently decided to go full electric by 2019 making them a direct competitior. Moreover, Telsa has been up for 14 years now and still have yet to forecast a profit - they wouldn't be running today if not for super inflated stock and goverment subsidies.
