Should I buy a first-gen Scion tC?

No. Heavy, shit engine, poor mpg, poor interior space. No redeeming qualities. A camry is better.

Buddy of mine had one. Eveything about it felt cheap and you could hear and feel everything on the road like you were scraping your ass on it. Speaker busted so we pulled the pvc plastic door off and it self destructed which i guess can technically be our fault but still never had another car do that. Also didnt help that all other scion drivers were highschoolers with flat black tints and stances.

One of my coworkers has been delivering pizza in his for a couple years - I believe it's a 2010 model. Looks pristine; asked him about it a while back and he says it's alright for the job, and I sometimes think about getting one to replace my I35 Infiniti but his is the only one that isn't riced and beat to shit here kek. I mean it's a fucking Toyota so at the very least it should be be reliable. I wouldn't get one if I could only have one car. I have a Miata for pleasure and the Infiniti is my workhorse but I kinda think about replacing it with something else; an IS300, Camry or Corolla, an xB... IDK. The I35 is kind of a piece of shit.

Idk. My generation stayed true to the original tC look but still improved on it without overdoing it. The first gen is too round faced and the 2014 facelift is too try hard

Go with a tC2, literally everything about it is improved.

Higher quality, bulletproof engine, interior is WAY better with a stereo from a Lexus, rides better, everything is improved.

The first gen was fun to drive but the second gen is GOAT
