Let's see those gauge clusters.

This thread seems like it has potential.
Analogue is so non-aesthetic

I'm gonna put in a different cluster in my NA soon but I'm torn between these two
This is prototipo
>>17477597
And this is warbird.
Any thoughts?
>>17477600
This one looks better but the other one is easier to read at a glance
>>17477597
>>17477600
First one is easier to read. Second looks nicer. First would be a lot better if not for the red/orange redline markers. Would rather it like the second.
>>17477635
>>17477674
I hear ya, thought the same thing. Second one seems busy but looks classy. I'm going for vintage roadster look and either would work but that's the nudge I needed
Who here white gauges? Kind of a shame they saw such limited use in cars.
>>17477717
My 300M had them. Looked pretty kool.

I'm guessing the striped section is the fuel economy speed, but what are the other tick marks on the speedometer?
>>17478532
Not him but that is the speed limit within towns in Europe

Just scored this one a few days ago

>>17478306
>the plastic gearing in his analog gauge cluster brakes
>>17478532
>the other tick marks on the speedometer?
It's a four speed transmission. Those ticks refer to the maximum speed in each gear.
I miss my analog gauges
Nice data mining thread OP.
>>17476269
bro why is your redline 14.5k
is that an F1 car
>>17480033

Got mine not that long ago, make sure you get the pic on yours.
Pic from a few weeks ago right when I hit 227,000 miles.
Alabama roads best roads.
>>17477600
Adam's gauges are amazing. I've got a white&black aesthetic going with my NA and went with Spyder.
>>17480423
Though I'm still tweaking on the lighting. I don't like them as much at night.
There a couple different displays you can choose. I prefer this one to remind of dat mpg baby.
Highest I've gotten it up to is 39mpg
The backlight for the numbers is on even when the headlights are off which is nice.
>>17480432
>>17480423
Thanks, happy to hear from someone who bought them! Did you add the LED back light option? The pics looked drastically different so I'm just gonna tack it on. Thinking about making my own KG Works cluster too, as I can't rationalize spending $400 on it...
>>17480432
There's a reason most, if not all cars, don't have bright white lights on the dash.
>>17477717

ATS-V and M3 gauge clusters

Ordered it for white led and bought bulbs, yes. I like the clean look of led, but may have to change the color to tone it down at night. The Miata bulb location never intended to have a white field surrounding the needles.
>>17481227
So the rpm and speedo numbers balance?
>>17482445
Agree but after 24 years looking at that, I was ready for a change. (I'm the anon with the Spyder gauges now)

First stripe shows the maximum speed for 1st gear, second for 2nd gear and the third for 3rd gear. I have no idea what the striped section is for for through.

What is this
Steering wheel + gauge cluster in a 1991 Geo Tracker.
Not only did the steering wheel look like a giant smiling clown face(somehow) but when you looked at it just right at night, the gauges lined up with what would be the eye sockets of the wheel making it look maniacal as fuck.
Owned it before cameras didn't need film and texts cost per character.
