Why are there two different jug designs? Also, do any of you use this?

Ran it in my old 6.0l. 5 gallon oil changes are fun.

No complaints. Oil temp and pressure stayed right where it should with it. Truck started well (oil pressure controlled injectors) and ran fine, even with my abuse.

Do you have Walmart around you? Most around me in the states sell Rotella t4 by the quart, gallon, and 5 gallon.

They still got 2.5 gallon jugs, but the supply seems to be dwindling. Seems like the stores around here aren't planning on reordering when they run out. Still available on their website though. Then again, you're only saving $0.01 per quart when buying 10 quarts vs 4.

Yeah, but buying the 2 4qt Jugs is a pain in the ass when all i want is 5qt and buying the extra quart in 1qt winds up costing more which is annoying as fuk.

Does anyone know which is the newer jug style? Thinking one on right. Rotella did change the formula a little while ago so I'm wondering if this is the old formula, or just a new jug with the same formula in each.
