I have an mk7 gti. It's a fun car with tons of potential and it's practical.

I love them, got to drive a new golf R recently, and I drove a Mk6 GTI. I own a mk6 2.5 Golf but the turbo's have better driving dynamics

The interiors are the great thing about VW imo. although I will say that my car must not have been well cared for by prev owner. Its had some minor issues that I've had to fix. (Drooping headliner (my fault mostly for changing interior light bulbs to LED) broken rear window washer hose where it went from body to hatch lid, broken window switches (easily replaced) and a rear taillight that got the terminal corroded by the aforementioned washer fluid hose breaking and leaking on it)

but still it drives so so so much better than my previous car a corolla of the same MY. plus much larger engine (1.8 4cyl vs 2.5 5cyl)
