Does this seem like a good deal? I'm afraid it might be stolen or something. What questions should I ask about it?
Dude it has a clean title. Just take that piece of paper to the DMV and have them check it out if you really think it's stolen.

In the UK you can check plates pretty easily through a gov website, can you do that where you are? On the outside it doesn't look bad, same with inside, I doubt it's been cut and shut or anything like that.

No. it's a shit car. just get a civic for that price.

I don't really like civics, though. All of the getto kids in my town drive one. I'd rather get a bmw or mercedes, but my budget is like $8k max. I also want it to be manual

post your local craigslist.

The car in question is JUST before audis started becoming nothing but lease queens so at least it won't be horribly unreliable. Newer ones aren't even worth running that many miles on
And this is an average deal, nothing to really worry about from a legitimacy standpoint. KBB value is about $2200 in very good condition so that's obviously how the seller priced it
Don't buy a mercedes from similar model years, they were still garbage

>Cut and shut
What does this mean in American?
>>17461318
$2000 car with $50000 car repair bills. For that price, you'd be MUCH better off getting something that won't be expensive to repair. My go to is always 97-2005 G-Body cars. I tend to lean toward buicks, because while bland, you have an easier time finding one owned by an old white person rather than a black guy who nigged the shit out of it.

Chop job.
>car A has fucked up back
>car B has a fucked up front
>cut both in half and weld front of A onto back of B.
>dress it up and sell as working car and not a screaming metal deathtrap.

what about bmw?

Fantastic cars for the first 50,000 miles.

Europe is a strange place...

if you maintain them they run great up to 200k, people just dont maintain them
Is a 2002 Honda Civic Si for $2000 low enough to be considered suspicious
>selling my car so I can buy a Truck
>all the Trucks on my local CL for $2k or less have serious issues or almost 300k miles
