I'm wanting to kill myself while I run people over?
Strange.

newfags please leave
>Mustang without a big dumb naturally aspirated V8
What's the point, I'd just buy German
>>17445714
>i would buy a slower, more expensive and less reliable vehicle
im sure you would if you could afford it
>>17445733
He said he wouldn't buy the hybrid, can't you read?
>>17445665
Slap a hybrid drive train onto the ecoboost and why not? The weight would be awful, but the instant torque from electric motors and a bigger turbo for top end power wouldn't be bad at all.

I wonder what's next? Are they going to make the new Moostang FF as well? Lunch trays, here we come?
>>17445665
I hope it's like the NSX where it uses the hybrid battery for torque vector in and acceleration

The Probe was almost the new Mustang at one point. They've learned their lesson. I expect this to be a gimmick car and not something they put a ton of time or marketing into.

Why? The Probe sold well as I recall. But it had the reputation for being a girl's car. No guy wanted to touch it. The Probe, I mean.
>Ford CEO Mark Fields made the announcement in a Tuesday press conference at the automaker's Flat Rock, Mich. assembly plant, where the Mustang is currently built. Fields also announced a hybrid F-150 and a 300-mile all-electric SUV will debut alongside the hybrid Mustang in 2020.
>Ford promises the Mustang hybrid will make horsepower comparable to the current V8 model, with even more low-end torque. The Mustang hybrid will hit the North American market in 2020

Please don't slap the SVO badge on it.
We need a true SVO successor with the 3.5l V6 Ecoboost.
>>17445859
I'd rather they just make a completely seperate car that is smaller (BRZ sized) and call it the SVO, and maybe put the 2.7L Ecoboost in it. The original was pretty damn small.
