Hey,
Craigslist ad for a 1997 Geo Prizm, manual, 140K, cracked windshield, peeling paint, and dented to hell.
$500 though, would this be something to learn manual on? Have driven manual a couple times but never owned one. Though about giving it a shot.

Everyone I know learned to drive whatever they bought on the way home. Don't fall for the beater meme /o/ uses to troll spergs.
I'd buy it and run it in a demolition derby.
How to learn manual on any car, without breaking shit.
Don't be dumb. There's no shame getting overwhelmed, and putting it in N, gathering your thoughts, and putting it in 5th and driving chill.
That's honestly not bad at all, it's VERY low mileage for what it is.
Go for it, it's a Toyota Corolla without the tax.

Appreciate the feed back, will probably buy it at such a cheap price.
Going to be 27 years old so I know shit like this shouldn't stress me out, but only human.
Maybe I should spray paint it just to complete the dirtball look.

Why not get an old truck with 4 on the floor and have something useful?
Car requirements for learning a manual car:
>manual transmission
That's it. Take it easy and you'll do fine.
Been thinking about doing the same for quite some time.
I guess I'll start doing some shopping around now.
