Why do all the new range rovers look rounded and smooth? What happened to the characteristic boxy luxury design?
would you look like a poorfag if you buy a 2012 model RR SC instead of the newer bodies because they like the boxy look? asking for a friend

only to normies
The first generation Range Rover wasn't all that boxy, but just like most other cars they have slowly been getting more rounded to fit modern safety standards and modern design language

OP, boxy vehicles started disappearing with muh old aesthetics. Partially for the aforementioned aesthetics shift but also because aerodynamics and crash safety rating. See: BMW i8 and how they engineered the curves on that vehicle.
As a side note, I hate this new "bubble" aesthetic and shift away from "sterile" straight lines or whatever. I moved from my BlackBerry to android the other month and one of the main things I hated about android were the fact that everything was wrapped in a bubble. Text messages, emails, maps, etc. Nothing had a square, 90 degree edge. Not even the phone. Went back to BlackBerry Classic after 10 days
