So what are the odds of alternative/syntethic fuels saving internal combustion engines when emissions standards get too restrictive for fossil fuels?
Fossil fuels will never become obsolete as long as big oil is here for us but with that said, by the time regulations become too strict or fossil fuels start to dry up fully electric/hybrid vehicles will finally be viable for mass use.

E-85 exists for a reason m8 but if you're talking about some other crazy shit then it would be most likely cost 10.00 dollars a gallon and the car industry would be infested with cheap electric cars and gega mpg slow cars that could only hit 70 mph
