That cars kinda cuck now. not fast enough, modern 4 banger are rapidly approacing that.

Hell even the new 4 banger camry is now over 200 horse. Thats V6 numbers from early 2000's -mid 2000's.

The magic is in the three door setup with huge 'unsafe' windows and being smaller than a modern day Honda fit. Cars have long since gotten as small as they ever will because of regulation so those actually small cars will eventually be sought after.

Also if I wanted to tarbo it and eventually kill the engine I could easily get into the ballpark of 250 hp but I'd rather get a car that starts in that neighborhood than try to get there myself.

I'm strongly considering getting a Golf R in the next few months. It's a lot more understated than its competitors which I like and it makes good power with a cheap tune. Focus RS interior blows and in my opinion the suspension is too stiff for everyday use.

Might go for a secondhand M235i or Audi S3. They depreciate so fast that 2015/2016 CPO cars with 10-15k miles are significantly cheaper than a 2017 Golf/Focus.
