what's the longest you've had to drive on a flat?

And by flat, I mean.. Fucked off the seat, and flopping around the wheel.

>drives it home like that, don't know how far
>asks me to help him change it
>agree
>it was a front tire with bad alignment wear
>check his other side
>not flat yet, but wire poking through on the inside part of the tread
>tell him this one is going to blow too
>somehow he hears that as "yeah, take it out of town, it'll be fine"
>doesn't have a spare
>drive it out of town
>calls me on his way back in
>hey bro, my tire is flat, can you help me out
>he limps it to my place on town outskirt
>it's the tire I warned him about
>tell him I can't do shit for him
>it was Sunday and all the tire shops were closed by this time
>he drives it 5~ more miles on basically the steel wheel through town
