I have a 1974 chevy 3 speed column shifter. I did an engie swap a while ago and spilled all of the gear oil in the process. Now I cant find the filler plug. On the side opposite to the linkage there's a 1/2'' male plug, and that's about it. On top a little closer to the tail is a round nub that feels like it has a flathead fitting, is that the filler? I don't think it is since it's such a pain to get to.

Help?

It should be the plug on the right side that's about halfway up the side. It could be either male or female
