first see if it works.
see if the supercharger even makes boost?
its a common failure
see if the sunroof works, extremely hard to fix.
100 % failure rate on them.
and make sure other stuff like the cruise works.
this wasnt vw's most reliable car and thats saying something.

that's in pretty good shape
all the ones in my area (Detroit) are rusted to shit and the power steering is blown.
It's loud but there is no resonator apparently so that's part of the issue.
The rough idle kills it for me.

there was the fact if you looked at it in the test drive and verified at least the engine makes boost, you can offer 3500 at most.

seriously this is the kind of car you have a mechanic look over before you think of buying it. they have issues, being VAG cars.
