Hi /o/. Is there anyone that can help me diagnose a wiring problem for my excavator? I have a scanned image of the wiring diagram if anyone wants to see it.

My problem is that the console gauges don't work. The mice ate the wiring at the harnesses to the computer. The wires have been repaired, tested, and everything worked. Then wrapped wiring harness with electrical tape and stopped working.

It doesn't appear as though the wiring to the computer harness are used by the fuel gauge.

sound like at least one of your wires, probably a ground, was not as mechanically sound when repaired as was thought.
