Hey /o/ I'm looking at a 04 Mazdaspeed 6 wagon sport with a 3.0 and a 5-speed Manuel one owner 82k miles. I have been doing some research, some people say they're good and some say they're bad so I was wondering if anyone has had experience with these? Any advice or things to look for would be much appreciated.

They're good as long as it's not rusty.

This or if they did it didn't come to the US.
Still the Wagon is a good choice. Thought about getting one for a DD.

Theres no such thing as a mazdaspeed 6 wagon. Im at work but i know mazdaspeeds so hang around op ill tell you what to look for
I have an 07' Mazda 6 wagon as a DD
common problems
>flex pipe leak
>clutch (pretty much the whole system, it eats clutches and shits master/slave cylinders)
>broken trunk handle
>shitty mileage
That aside it's a sweet ride, handles great and has tons of room

I believe it's just the sport trim on the 3.0 6 wagon, speed 6 was 4x4, wagons were always ff

They are good as long as they are not bad

here. the major things to look for on a mazdaspeed 6 is the clutch pedal vibrating. this means a rod is bent and the motor needs a rehaul. check the motor mounts and transfer case mounts as these shear easily. also the rear transfer case leaking is a common problem i heard some guys swap em out for the cx-9 case and have better results. let the car idle for 10-20 minutes and see if the turbo smokes. most do smoke because of a poor pcv valve design mazda has.
