>revelant for years because of vidya exposure stemming from EA holding Porsche hostage
>exclusivity deal ends
>everyone has Porsches, nobody needs RUF anymore
How long until their only appearances are limited to legacy cars in Gran Turismo? How long until new gen of car kids doesn't even know about the most tasteful tuner?

that's brabus

But anyway OP, the only cars anybody ever gave a fuck about from RUF were the Black and Yellowbird. There's a reason they had to re-release the YB to stay relevant.
>>17381911
isn't that just to meet some emissions law bullshit
Can't even begin to care, will play GT2 forever.
>>17381864
>Brabus
I mean, they're not Mansory, but someone who has touched Gealendwagen and Smart and whose design principle is little more than BLACK EVERYTHING can't be tasteful by definition.
Alpina is definitely tastier than RUF, though.
>>17381929
You don't see RUF souping up Smartcars to meet emissions, that doesn't seem like much of an argument.
>>17381941
I'm not using it as one, I'm just curious
I've heard that a lot of high-end companies are having to rebrand Smarts or Toyotas in order to stay in compliance
>>17381951
Brabus is a tuner and not an OEM manufacturer, and RUF is technically OEM but low-volume so they're exempt. Aston Martin had to get a Toyota iQ in the lineup because they're relatively high volume.
>>17381847
>RUF
It's "Ruf" and they haven't been relevant for years anyway.
>>17381938
why do alpina wheels look good on literally every bmw
>>17381965
>had to
They didn't have to, they just thought it would be the better deal for them as opposed to paying gaz guzzler penalties, right to the point when they realized it wasn't the better deal.

because bimmers are big so the spreadfan look complements them well
>>17382078
But they are and i'm not even a porsche fan
