First thing you're gonna want to do is remove that bag, its just useless excess weight. Same for the useless plastic covers all over everything. Gas is also heavy, never fill to more than half a tank. Looks like you're already running some pretty skinny tires, so thats good, less rolling resistance. Depower those rear wheels and remove the drive system. Pushing power now comes from your legs, buttercup. I see you've got adjustable deck height. Lower that bitch as far as she goes, less wind resistance that way. Same for the bars, tuck up into that fucker as tight and low as you can. Do all these things and you'll be laughing at that smug fucker across the street with his fancy ass expensive electric cuck mower.

If you have a newer type car, that tool is available to you.
Immediate feedback for your driving methods is good in training yourself to recognize what works for your car and that current road environment. Check your car's onscreen display features. Display the immediate and running total MPG numbers. The immediate MPG shows your MPG for the current 3 to 5 seconds of driving. You see immediately how a lead foot affects that value. After awhile, you figure out how much you can accelerate without getting too low an instant MPG value.

cant tell if legit advice or just a meme
anyway, i'd say to keep up on maintenance with it. So:
>Change oil
>Change spark plug
>Rebuild/Clean carburetor
>Fresh air filter
>Check to make sure all rubber lines are good/Replace cracked lines
>Sharpen your cutting blade(s)
>Wash the underside after every cut

Drive a manual.

Improve your driving style. Accelerate slower. Do less braking and more coasting. Go 65 on the freeway. Make sure your car is tuned up. Tires make a big difference too.

Don't listen to these cucks the real way is to swap in a small turbo because it will give you more power with less displacement and overall be much more efficient. Also going this route allows you to tune according for your liking as you find whether you want it to have a little more power or just lessen the boost a little bit and get more mpg.
