How do we replicate ATE Super Blue?

ugh stupid govermint faggots alway's ruin everything

Think they could get away with selling the blue additive by itself so you can mix them yourself?

Liquid food coloring is generally thought to be a bad idea. Layout fluid is too, but I just used that as a talking point.

The point is to be able to create our own colored brake fluid to make system flushing simpler.

I've flushed hundreds, if not thousands of brake systems and don't see an advantage to coloring brake fluid blue (nor have I ever seen it). What makes it easier for you?
Clear is the most common by far, and it makes it easy to see particulate, dissolved seals, rust and other crap in the brake lines. Blue would only make me think someone put windex in the reservoir. But by all means, buy some oil-based food dye and go for it.

My manual says you shouldn't mix DOT 3 with DOT 4. If I wanted to upgrade to DOT 4, is there anything special I need to do to flush the system? Would I need to replace all of my lines?

That's bullshit because dot 3 and 4 mix perfectly fine. It's dot 5 that doesn't mix, because it's silicone based.
