Well that's shitty. Go get another quote somewhere else before you do anything. If you do some of the prep work (sanding, masking, removing trim, etc) they might knock the price down a fair amount.

I do admit that I could have done something to prevent this but I understand that Honda clear coat is fairly notorious for going tits up when hit by UV
