Best diesel truck for under 25k

At the risk of bumping a bait thread, "best" is subjective. I would suggest an older ford or dodge myself. Ford has better overall build quality, but it's difficult to beat a cummins engine. I don't like GM diesels because duramax is a joke.

I can;t do ford anymore
Also not bait thread
Also anything too old is just not worth it, suspension/chassis issues, older interiors
I need something comfy and offload capable with diesel benefits

Well buddy, what do you consider too old?
If you saved an extra 5k or so that might be more reasonable but if you looking for something 5/7 years old that's a pretty tight budget, diesels hold value you pretty well as you know.

Shit, yea I know
The thing is I don't mind paying up to 25k, I'm just not sure what is legit
I've heard ram 2500 have bad suspensions sometimes and need some work however the 12v or 24v motors are great
I also like gmc for mostly for the truck look and not sure much about their engines
Ford, never again

I had a dodge and the engine was super great made a lot of power but the rest of the truck was falling apart around it.
