Can't stand them personally. Last Vauxbox i liked was the Omega.

Vauxhall was already a familiar brand to the British public when it was bought out by GM, while no one in Britain had heard of Opel.

Vauxhall made a few really cool cars in the 80's and 90's. Astra Gte's and the 2.5 v6 Vectra's in the late 90's are massively underrated

Cheap, cheap and cheap

Wouldn't touch some of their models with a pole.

But some of the older models, the classics are quite good. Especially the Vauxhall Rascal, which was the successor to the hugely popular and award winning Bedford Rascal, the van that inspired a whole generation, and was the foundation of van making to this very day.
