Can someone recommend a good tire pen? I drive Pirelli P Zero but Pirelli didn't make the letters white which looks kinda boring.
I found Tire Penz, they seem to be somewhat popular - but here in Germany, one pen is like $25 with shipping. Any alternatives? Experiences?
Oh and it's gotta be as permanent as possible, obviously. So these tire shop "let's mark summer and winter tires"-pens obviosuly aren't enough
Pass. My experience with paint and plastics/rubber would be to give the surface in question a date with some 200-400 sandpaper and give the paint somewhere to bleed into.

Yea I agree, I would defo rub this shit for a while to give it some better ground. What paint have you used?
I used Sharpie paint pens in the past on tires and it worked fine.
But they were race car tires and replaced after a few months anyways. Never touched rain, dirt, weather, etc. So I can't really make any promises about how well they would last on a street car.

Not done it myself, but with whatever brand of whatever we have in the shop (metal fabrication).
Anything I've marked on plastic, rubber or nylon etc I've scuffed it a bit otherwise it just comes off if you bump into it with your elbow etc.
No idea what different kinds of 'tyre shine' applicants would do. Trial and error I guess.

yea I will only apply it to my summer tires but there is rain and mud in summer :/

yea I think the more I experiment with it the worse it will be looking in the end but how can I know without trying. Idek whether or not it will look good
so I will try with chalk first
