Sup /o/, got a real question for once.
I had some switchback led turn signals installed for a while and I had to install resistors to prevent hyperblinking. Now I've realized how dumb this was and switched back to normal turn signal bulbs, however the front blinker is no longer working. The bulb is good, it works when the car is locked or when the hazard lights are on, but when I use the turn signal I get hyperblinking from the mirror indicator and rear indicator and no activity from the front bulb.
The wire where the splice was removed is fairly chewed up, I'm thinking of cutting it and installing a but connector to try and repair the issue but figured I would check with you no-nothings first. Any thoughts?

Bump, anyone work with car electrics?

If it's chewed you already know the problem. Wrap the loom to make sure you don't have any shorts in the future. Most of those aftermarket systems use cheap wiring that will prematurely wear the loom due to heat and physical contact

Thanks m8, so cutting it and inserting a but connector will likely work as I'm hoping?
