WHY
The Karma was arguably one of the best looking cars all around. How have they managed to go from there towards building a bland Model 3 with a body kit?

>Expecting a company that went bankrupt and got bought by a Chinese company to have any taste at all
>>17356019
The people who made the Karma are now a company called 'Karma' and the make a car that looks exactly like the original. Fisker is china garbage.
>>17356048
I think you've got it the other way around. Fisker relaunched as Fisker Inc. in 2016, and the Chinks bought all the Fisker knowledge in 2014 and launched Karma Automotive because they couldn't get the name, too.
Fisker Inc = Fisker relaunch = American
Karma = Fisker Karma rebadge = Chinkese

Yeah It's entirely possible that I have no idea what I'm talking about, but there's still a car that is identical to the Karma, so buy that if you're so into it.
>>17356083
Said car is Chinese now, and the Karma wasn't a very good car to begin with, and I doubt the Chinks have fixed its shortcomings. Bad build quality, bad reliability, bad interior space. And I say that as a huge fan of the series hybrid principle.

This car is the answer to a question nobody asked

>How have they managed to go from there
They are all just investor pyramiding schemes to legally employ those employees cast off by tesla and other electric car makers. By doing so, they obtain expertise and technical design knowledge they need to sell the cars WITHIN american borders. All those copycat cars sell elsewhere, but they cannot sell inside usa borders without lawsuits in usa courts.
By collecting investor dollars, they basically get others to buy and make the cake that they eat. The company can then fold up at the end and the intellectual property will go to the chinese company that holds the actual strings in the usa-side company.

That Chinese company also owns A123 battery tech.
