I just got the insurance check back from my 2006 Civic Si that got totaled in a flood, and with that plus some money I had saved up I have about 10k.
On top of looking for other Civics, what else should I be considering? I like quick reliable 5-speeds, but I've never really expanded outside of Fords and Hondas, but there's a bunch of stuff on Craigslist in my range.
> 2012 Mazda3i Touring Skyactiv 56k
> 2007 Mustang v6 100k
> 2006 Fusion v6 130k (It's like $3000)
What else should I look into?

IMS is a meme and chances are it's already been replaced in most cars for sale, it's something to swap out with each clutch change.
It's also the most useful roadster because it's got 2 large trunks.
Oh I forgot

Only one in 200mi is Spider anniversary edition going for 13k.

i dont know where you from from but you may be able to find a pretty clean 350z/g35 for around 10k
Pre-facelift g37 / g37x
>>17332757
I've definitely considered both of those, but I don't really know enough about them to know how many miles are too many, regular things to look for, etc. I know a ton of people with g35s and they're all over craigslist. What is the maintenance like?
Z3 Coupe
Fun, reliable if you swap the waterpump out, e30 rear suspension.
If you cant afford a coupe, the Z3 Roadster is also very good. Atleast the 2.8 and 3.0i

hope this helps
Buyer asking 8k @ 119k
Looks clean, but an 04 is pretty old.

Pre 07 has front suspension problems I think

Ride a bike for a couple weeks nigga.
honda fanboi so ef/eg/ek hatch and invest the rest or mod the shit out of the car with the remaining 5k+ , can probably find one that already has a b18, b20 or h22 swap and slap a turbo and delete kids on the highway

That's a lot of miles. 8k should get you something with under 75k miles easy, maybe even under 50k if you get lucky.
Be frugal young lad. I vote Accord V6. 230 hp, and lots of torque your Si never had.

post your local craigslist.
You should easily find an 05-09 Mustang GT for under 10k
