is the Optima a good car?

Had one for a while as a company car a year ago.
Thing is it never gave a any feedback on the steering wheel and it felt weird. Numb. Heck a Camry feels better.

The 2016's resolved this issue

Just because you can only afford a 15 year old Accord doesn't mean it's the best mid size sedan, Pedro.

Lots of features that might not even be available in competition but value is all they really have going. Korean cars still feel unrefined, at least to me.
Brake/steering feel are way too vague, and its not like a brand new audi with strong initial bite, its just disconnected entirely.
Interior is hard plastic galore thats waiting to squeak but nice features to offset that (heated/vented seats, heated steering wheel)
Tldr cheap shitbox but pay a little more and get a better built japanese shitbox

So you're only argument is to assume other people are poorfags that can only afford old cars?
I bought mine brand new in 2008 and it's been fantastic these past 9 years

Spend the extra money on an accord or camry and you will get it back in value
Have a 2013 Turbo, its decently fast and well equipped, but the automatic is sluggish and it is not fun to drive. Currently look for anything with a manual so I can remember what it's like to actually drive a car again.
That being said, it's comfy and perfect for road trips because of its 650+ mile range and the features.

>650+ mile range
That's it?

Went from an Rx8 that could barely hit 300 to the Optima, it's like night and day to me.
650 isn't too bad for a large 4 door Korean car though

Diesels are a different beast
Got an 06 with 166k miles, still doing well with routine maintenance. It's 80% of a Camry. Nothing notable, but it's been a solid car.
