Damn, that's quite a dent.
I have something similar on my Honda shitbox which I'm going to tackle myself using Harbor Freight stud welder, slide hammer, and bondo. If you go that route, you have to sand down the areas to weld on the studs, which is okay with me because I was planning to repaint the car anyways.
Chances are that's what a shop will do. No idea how much they'll charge but I can easily see it being over 1k.
Maybe you should consider using your insurance provided you have it.

Your paint is cracked, it needs to be repainted.

Does your insurance policy have comprehensive? aka hail damage, tree falling, hit and run?

If not, go get it now. Keep this damage quiet, file a claim in 3 months, might need to submit a police report.


Otherwise looks about $800 worth of body work, maybe more.

go on yelp and look for a mobile dent repair, then take to bodyshop to touchup the cracked paint

Take the interior panel off and try whacking it from the other side if you can. Get a heat gun/hair dryer and warm it up first. If that doesn't work try one of the big round plungers from the outside.

I meant no paintwork needed because I'll just do the panel myself. As for comprehensive I do not, and I attempted to make a police report and they told me I "waited" too long to do so and they also could not do it because I had moved my car. (took the police over an hour to get to my house)

Easily $1000+. Rear quarter panels take a lot of work since they have to be cut out, welded, made flush, then they have to match paint and go over some of the paint on the adjacent panels to make it look right.

Ok is good enough for me, I could always pay someone to do the little details later. Just sucks ass because that was the nicer side of the car, Driver side has minor hail damage, so a small dent or some shit being left won't look terrible.

But right now it's a god damn eye sore
