There isnt an Initial D discussion thread that I could find, so lets start one.
Who is the better racer? Itsuki or Iketani? Lets say the 2 had a race at the end of the series
Itsuki:
>AE85 Levin w/ bolt on turbo
>~150 HP
His skills are not bad, in fifth stage we can see his drifting skills in the first episode and in the credits of the last
Iketani:
>S13 (240sx as its known in the West)
>Stock has 140 HP, but he said he has uptuned it so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say 160 HP
Iketani hasnt practiced much but has good corner entry, however exiting is very wobbly
>cartoon
cartoons are for children lmao
why don't you get an actually productive hobby

do you think /a/ would discuss anything that isnt weebshit?
Honestly there's little room for real speculation in Initial D. The entire show is basically a giant deus ex machina where Dagumi can single handedly destroy anyone with a Corolla. Every outcome is dependent on how convenient it is to accelerate the plot.
Itsuki would win
Both Itsuki and Iketani got more dignity and respect than the guy who drove the S15 did.
Here's a little food for thought about another thing.
Remember the gutter technique? Remember Takumi's race against Takeshi's R32?
Did you notice how Takumi went beyond the gutter technique and did something you wouldn't see or hear about until Fourth Stage?
If you go back and look, either anime or manga, you'll notice that Takumi's wheels aren't in the gutter like they're shown in the other First Stage races. When he's passing the R32, the inside wheels are actually on top of the concrete curb/grass next to the gutter.
This was something that would become a technique used in a Fourth Stage race, where a road had gutters but there was no smooth slope into the gutter. It was just a pit with vertical walls on either side. They made it a point to use weight-shifting to hover the inner wheels over the gutter and onto the concrete curb to take the corner more quickly.
Meanwhile, Takumi was shown to do this exact thing back in First Stage and in the manga against Takeshi.

>not weebshit
Initial D threads appear semi-regularly on /a/. they're awfully similar to the Inisharu Dee threads here on /o/.

JDM S13's do not have shitty ka24's desu
If we use how they fared against Shingo as a guide, it seems like Itsuki has better control of his car than Iketani.

Considering how the AE85 has worse suspension, he did pretty well.
