last night I hit a massive pothole in my car on some horrible country road and had to change to my spare tyre because mine was flat.
i get the jack out and prop the car up, it's about 2 am in the middle of the countryside pouring with rain and the only light I have is my phone torch.
I obviously jacked the car up wrong and so on checking this morning, i've notice i've bent my underside of the door frame quite badly, not noticeable unless you're looking for it but my dad will actually kill me if he finds out. is this easy to fix by a body shop or do I accept death now?
Sounds like you jacked it up on the cosmetic part of the sill, rather than the folded tougher metal they recommend. I'd prepare your anus if I were you, this can't be styled out.
sorry fampai

here we go, hopefully the paint isn't too fucked so it won't start rusting

Body shop can fix it
I did something far worse in a similar spot a while back. That section is a weird composite of thinnish metal skin with a kind of fibreglass/foam fill if I remember rightly. Mine was a company car and I think they just spliced in a new section but yours doesn't look anywhere near as bad. Still probably a couple of hundred to make it perfect but I wouldn't stress too much! Just cosmetic I reckon.

What more explanation is needed?

my dad came with me to look at it and pick it out though, no way in hell he'll fall for that.
