My sister wants a crossover/suv that's brand new and requires no maintenance.
I only specialize in shitboxes. Anyone know what a good choice is? Preferably something with a V8, AWD and a decent build quality.
Budget is about 25k.

And by brand new, I mean new-ish. Something about 2 years old to avoid the lot premium. I'm just use to buying vehicles that are decades old.

>new-ish
>V8 with AWD and quality build
try Subaru. no V-ate but it's about as much as you can afford

lol for 25k you've got base level suv(crx,cx-5 etc)
or a mid level (hrv, cx-3 etc) my mom just got a outlander fully loaded for 23.5k check out mitsu
I dont think there is a such thing as a crossover with a V8.

4runner Limited ticks a lot of those boxes except for the V8. It's going to be a bit older though. V8+AWD and 25K budget doesn't mix

She's an emergency nurse that works on call and lives in a place that gets a ton of snow. Cars are out of the question and she doesn't like trucks. It's the only option.

Subaru
Almost all SUV/CUV are i4 or i4 turbo, nevermind v6 nevermind v8. You're going to be looking at a hueg GM or Ford to get the v8.
Otherwise buy a cx-5 and be done with it, you aren't getting what you seek for 25k new.
