Junkyards won't sell you a car once it's been put in the yard for parts picking, the paperwork is already in motion for the vehicle to be ultimately destroyed. Title never gets transferred to them directly to even do so.

Just go on Craigslist and buy $200 Neons like that one anon did. He made a ton of money as far as I know. Better yet, buy the $200 Neons, fix them up, and rent them out like my dad did with old as shit Civics. He made a ton of money since ghetto trash rented them all the time.

If you want to flip cars, Get some Auction hookups and a sketchy garage to re-inspect cars. Pick up a Mercedes with a busted up panel, Replace it, Repaint it and re-sell it to some dumbass that's too stupid to buy a new luxury car. Repeat.

Junkyards won't sell you cars at a rate where you can make money doing this.

You have to do it through Craigslist. You have to be able to identify sellers who have an item that is devalued unrealistically in their mind, and be able to get it home.

Then you need to be able to fix it.

There's a lot there. Fucked cars are hard to work on. Old and rusted. Already ghetto rigged.

It can be done, but you either sell shit you shouldn't or need more skills than you probably have.

Then you need a buyer.

I don't know about junkyards, but I have a guy in my family who is opening a business restoring old cars because he's already near retirement age, has the skills, lives in an area where it's profitable, and wants to live out his passion.

He's been running a shop for the past few decades, so he already knows what kind of things he needs to make this happen.

Do keep in mind that it is illegal to sell cars for a profit. In the United States you're only allowed to sell cars for less than what you paid for them.

The big business junkyards won't sell you a car. Go for the self owned businesses, they're more likely to sell you a junk car. They're hard to find, though.

Your best option is craigslist, but watch out for the jews that have ads like this
