Castrol Edge Titanium, specifically becauae it had a very low NOACK and TEOST value. Ecoboost engine so I want minimal carbon buildup.

Oil is pretty interesting actually...not sure how deep into detail you want me to go but the "w" number is the winter number . So that oil will flow as a straight 5 weight oil would flow at 0 degrees, and will flow like a straight 20 weight oil when it's 200/210 (can't remember the specifics) degrees

You'd probably be okay. Runs a little thick anyway.

Redline 5w-40 is roughly the same, maybe just a bit thicker, as Mobil 1 5w-30 IIRC

Figure it's summer and it's a good time to get rid of that old stock for a car I no longer have

20 weight oils seem to be a fuel savings meme, if the 5w30 burns less I'll keep using it

The manual says to use 20w50 when above -10ºc, and 15w40 below that.
Protip: not all engines are created equal.
