It's just not an interesting car. You'll look boring but reliable. It's a "nice guy" car. Something practical. Peppy, sure, but is it worth 14k?

If you can handle a hatchback, since it's a similar size to a mazda 3, why not get a 2013 fiesta ST at carmax for the same price? if it has to be automatic, could you consider a big boat car like the Taurus SHO? https://www.carmax.com/car/14127542 is only a few thousand more and it's much comfier than a small mazda3.

idk about this gen, but the previous two suffered from gummy bear engine mounts.
