I do think you are a bit spoiled yes. Driving pleasure to me is not about speed, but a sensation of mastering the vehicle and attaining a mental state of flow; being one with the driving. Bumps and uneven road surfaces induces loss of traction and tire slip at lower speeds, and it's when there is this tiny bit of sideways movement I'm truly happy.

Besides, being flung around is not a bad thing. Play and games are among the most fun things we can do, and most of them, ranging from contact sports to running to underwater diving, involves some form of bodily discomfort; but the experience in it's entirety is enjoyable.

Should I pave my lawn because the grass wears out the lawnmower blades?
