It's a 1976 Silver Shadow long wheelbase, with 81k miles.
The previous owner had a sunroof put in the car, along with "look a like" convertible top fabric in blue, to match the interior. The body has hail damage as well.
Mechanically, the engine does run, but leaks coolant from the cylinder liner seals and out of the weep holes on the engine block.
The gentleman he bought the car from had all the brake hydraulic components as well as the pads/rotors replaced with new items. That was about 5 years ago. The pieces have less than 100 miles on them.
The interior and wood are in "ok" condition. All the pieces are there, but the leather is somewhat worn and has some small tears.
The vehicle had a Nardi wood steering wheel, but was stolen when the car was left outside one night, it currently has no steering wheel. It also is missing the hubcaps.
$4k

no, spend a little for something in better condition. Might even save a whole lot of money on doing so.
>missing expensive steering wheel
>ghetto sunroof
>No hubs
>bodydamage
>convertible top fabric
can you ballpark what it would cost to fix? just think, you can get the same car in fine working order off CL for 15k, maybe less. so...
Without steering wheel this shit should be $300 tops.
You are getting ripped by a nigger.
>browsing CL
>RR's for fun
>see an ad for a '70's RR like in OP's pic
>ad talks about pimps, riding like Don "Magic" Juan
Ugh.

I want to throw a generic wheel on it and drive it until the motor blows, then hang the grille on the wall.
Guy says he'll take $2k if I get there this weekend. More pics.

$800 because bad owners

He just halved the price out of the blue. This thing is a money pit and he knows it.
You'll never get your money out of it. Finding the steering wheel is out of the question. Replacing the leather is going to be $5-10k. A Cadillac or Lincoln of the same era will cost just as much and ride the same.

Nah; I've known him for some time and the reason he's selling it is because he sued the shop that had it for the lost hub caps and steering wheel; got a good settlement, and doesn't want to store it. Storage is paid until the 1st.
