addendum: inb4 boomer car

stock it wont be fast but it'll have a big v8 and make a good cruiser
its likely running a tiny carb so throwing a nice aluminum intake and a new 4 barrel carb on top and some headers and new exhaust it should let it breathe better

Wouldn't be worth it to me unless I actually cared about the person it came from. A lot cooler cars around a similar price range unless you're getting it stupid cheap.

There are much more attractive A-bodies, though I am fond everything behind the front fender/door line.

A-Bodies drive good. They are super long wheelbase with the drivers seat about halfway. It's a weird floaty sort of steering and driving but they handle good as cruisers. I have a '70 Monte Carlo I'm flipping now and I enjoy it.

They're dead simple and people daily drove them in the 70s. If it's in good mechanical condition, absolutely.
Guzzoline bills might add up though.
