What killed the Aztek was the fact it was marketed towards the active Youth, and too expensive for them, if it was either cheaper, or marketed to Soccer Mom's it probably would of worked maybe, World may of not been ready for crossovers quite yet as the gas crunch hadn't really happened to sideline SUVs, so it may of been a tad ahead of it's time, but I personally think Marketing and price were what really did it in.

There's plenty of cars as ugly if not ulgier than it that have sold quiet successfully, just a mix of ill pricing and/or marketing.
