i drive all day for work, 100 - 150 miles a day, and my ankles are killing me. its both highway and city driving and my feet are toast.
my clutch foot is getting chewed up in city driving, and my gas foot is constantly sore.
should i just get a brace or something, or should i get a car with a AT?

I drive 100 miles a day and it's no problem - I mean it hurt like a fucking cunt for a week or month or something but the pain is long gone and never reoccurred.

How is 150 miles "all day" ?
I have an 84 mile round trip commute and it only takes me an hour each way.
Also if you're doing city driving, yes, auto transmission
