Not that I'd be able to cheap out on getting a used steel hood painted anyway, I've been calling around all the junkyards near me ever since, and none of them have a scooped hood at all, let alone a silver scooped hood.

mind you it is carb'd, and it is a pain in the patoot to change that shit to EFI, and I'm not even talking about doing it legally. Just doing it in general would be a BITCH.
You've got to get an Si fuel tank with sending unit, an Si steel fuel feed line (the carb'd cars feed line is the size of the Si return line, so ya lucked out there), an Si dash harness (actually easy to swap believe it or not), the chassis harness to the back of the car for the fuel tank, and a few other odds and ends.
But if you like it as it sits and like 50-60mpg, go for it. I always get smiles in the '84 in the OP.

Previous owner was a mechanic, came with a complete log book with maintenance notes from when it was purchased new with 8 miles on the odometer till now. Runs great, other than it needs a new A/C compressor and the aforementioned rust fixed. I think I really lucked out to be honest, clean 100% stock 2 door RS's are hard to find.
My suggestion, look for a rust free one in the 6-8 thousand range. As nice as mine looks, its going to cost me $3-4000 to get the rust and paint fixed correctly. Prices on them are only going to go up, subaru only imported 8700 RS coupes, with tons crashed, rusted out, riced out, and engine swapped.

He probably doesn't feel dumb at all. The demon will likely be much more expensive, and many things were sacrificed for weight. The front brakes on the demon are, for instance, four piston calipers as opposed to six on the Hellcat. The demon is good in one place, the strip. It's the Honda you shortshift, engine brake and eggshell because that is the only way you'll get 40+ mpg overall because of the hybrid system. It gets worse fuel economy on long road trips, something like 38 overall, because the IMA fights itself trying to keep charged and uses all of its charge on long hills.
Engine note sounds fantastic over 4k revs but it doesn't feel any faster. The interior is underrated IMO because it's super well layed out.

2014 Corolla
Manual transmission
Apparently gets near 30 city and 40 highway but I've only owned it 1 day.
$15200 with 5 yr wareanty, interior protection, and tire/wheel protection.
Rate my purchase pls /o/.
The buyers remorse hurts. First car purchase and I think I got too many services. The car was 11344, 1200 taxes.

Moved to new area, needed a smallish car that I could still take clients places, decided that would do.
Changed job. No longer need a reliable car, no longer have clients that need to ride along.
Litrally no use for the POS but I'm stuck with it and won't ever be able to sell it.
Payments on that + house with my new job mean I'll can't afford a new project car at all. Don't want to change job to previous higher paying career since it made me hate my life and my job new is enjoyable and rewarding, even if it pays shit.
All I want is a FoxBody or a Miata, can't even afford those...
