I have to honk my car while turning the key to get it to start. That isn't normal, right? It's an older car that had a trim ring on the steering wheel for the horn but it broke off so the PO hooked up a little button under the dash. If I don't honk it nothing happens when I turn the key.
Also yesterday I shut the glove box and the horn just started blaring and wouldn't go off without me unplugging them. What's my problem here?

Just remove all the wiring for the horn.
The connection where he spliced it into the ignition loom, the switch, everything.
