I didn't notice this till I came home from work last night. How much would it be to get rid of this dent?

Would the hair dryer trick work?

I'm fine with it as is, I figured it was going to happen sooner or later. I'm just curious.

The dent is pretty sharp and straight on the fender line, so my guess is a no. Paintless dent removal wont work either.

You're fucked on that one, bud

honestly probably cheaper to buy a fender
or make an insurance claim

they can probably get it out but will most likely charge more because it's on the line
>>

this, might be around $250 to get out depending on where you take it, but it looks like no paint broke so it should be relatively straight forward for w/e shop you take it to

PDR can work on crease zones but it depends on the skill and patience. As it was explained to me about sharp creases, it has to be massaged so that both the rate of change in any one location and the tension in one location is not so great that the flexibility of the paint is overcome.

PDR also fails where the paint is old or artificially aged due to UV exposure.

I've had PDR done on a crease and I could not tell even when I directly looked at that spot. So it is possible for a sharp bend to be fixed. As for cost, mine was quite small like yours so it ran $150 here in the seattle area.

PDR prices vary greatly for the same item because profiteering.

do not do this for that

Is there anything more meticulously infuriating than this?

Ugh, I can't imagine if you pulled up to pick me up for a date in that car. Gawd, how embarrassing? I wouldn't dare dream of being seen in such a piece of shit.

I got a similar dent on my mustang less than 3 weeks after buying it. Body shop quoted me $800 because they would have to remove the whole quarter panel which extends along the roof to the base of the windshield and repaint it. I'm still driving with the dent.

Go to some other body shop. You don`t need to remove the whole rear quarter, but it will most likely need a repaint.
