what is the procedure called where you get your car's coolant inspected for gasses that may be early sign of blown head gasket and such?

no man, i know there's a tool and a liquid chemical you mix with your existing coolant to pump with air. If the color changes then you have problems

>combustion leak test
thank you anons
>>17239086
get a "block tester" that should tell you right away if exhaust gasses are in coolant
>>17239143
but these "combustion leaks" can be of other factors aside from head gasket right?
>>17239149
Yes but it would only be a more serious issue like a crack in the block.
>>17239149
The only place exhaust gases could enter coolant is the head gasket

A cracked head or block would do the same thing but obviously a bad head gasket would be the most common.
