Dont drive like a woman and you wont get that light.

It looks like they're only doing 1k RPM- if anything, they were trying to upshift too early and it didn't let them because they would have stalled out.

The car forces you to skip from 2nd to 4th.
Of course, anyone with a brain and a tuner gets rid of that.
>>17238362
The revs can drop down to idle if you're coasting down a hill.

if your VW or AUDI car is equipped with DSG™ you can start from 2nd gear by rocking gear lever several times back and forth

Yep, this is the pathetic grasping at straws/over compensation manualtards have come to.
>>17238380
if the car never goes into 3rd then maybe 4th is the real 3rd
>>17238287
PLOT TWIST, it's actually a manual and it failed to shift into the next gear. Some manubaby wants you to think this is a automatic.

The only clutches you should ever operate are by hand.
/o/ noob here.
This is the only place where I've seen such anger at automatics and manuals
I don't know anyone in real life who cares about it. The few people I know who drive manuals do so only because their first car, their current car, happened to be one
So what's the big deal? Why do people on /o/ care so much about it?
This is probably a meme-answer, but if I'm not racing around why should I bother having a manual- it just seems like it's more work
I just want to put out there that manuals depreciate slightly slower then their auto counterparts because manuals are more desirable (in places that aren't Burgerland)
Let the sperging commence

If you have to ask, then it isn't for you. Simple as that.
If you really REALLY like driving, the extra bit of control it affords can be enjoyable. I have never owned an automatic, but I'm not going to shit on people who don't want to bother because cars just ain't their thing.

poor people can afford brand new BMW M cars and Porsches?

It's a bad idea, but in slowly rolling traffic it can happen quite easily.

Its probably is detecting that the vehicle is in motion for some reason. So It doesnt want you to slam from forward to reverse destroying the transmission.

Nope, it doesn't. Kys tripfag
