Buy a steam cleaner. It's great for cleaning carpets and doubles as a tool for killing bedbugs in furniture. The little fuckers just melt on contact.

soak with engine degreaser,
brush vigorously.
rinse/brush/rinse with clean water
wetdry shopvac in between cycles and afterward final rinse
