all sports cars between 80-90s had a big increase in the last 5-10 years.
For examble E30 M3 had more increase then normal F and G models. But third person viewer always have fault perspectives on the cars.
They only see the prices at the market but not the worth of the cars and the costs. Many cars of the F and G modell arrived at an age, where you have to invest a lot. Overhaul the engine, the transmission. Costs about 10-15k dollar. So the owners say why sell it for 20k. I want at least my money back. Furthermore the decreasing interest rate strengthen the increase of the prices. But you can find fair prices for a porsche. Fair price here in Germany is around 35-45k € for an overhauled 3.0. But they increase this year again. But a reminder. You buy an classic car, on the state of a new car. I wouldn't buy a shit state for this price. There are many car traders, who want for their shit cars much money.
5-10 years ago the most cars, where cars you bought, which needed in a couple of years big costs of repair, so the prices were of course lower.
>>17229534
why you wouldn't be able to own one?
Many germans import Porsches from USA, because they are 10-15 percent cheaper without the import + taxes
Why dont buy an solid 3.0. I looked up prices. They are around 30-35k $.

>buy high
>sell low?
Buying an air cooled 911 right now is just such a bad idea. I remember six years ago when you could pick up a late 80s/early 90s 911 for $15k in good condition... now they're $50k. Best advice, try to correctly guess what is undervalued now or one that will appreciate in the near future
>>17226783
>radar detector listed twice
Huh, I wonder why...
>>17231287
eh no. The good weren't six years ago at 15k $.
They were around 25k $. And the good now aren't at 50 k $. They are aroud 35-42k 2.7- 3.0. Both (US market)
Do your homework proberly before talking trash.
In Germany they were around 20-25k € about 10-15 years ago. I have old magazines with car ads from private sellers. Now they are around 35-45 if your lucky for 3.0.
Futhermore read this >>17230190
As i said many sport cars are high at the moment.
For example if you want a Datsun 240z, shittier car then a 3.0, slower, less quality, good condition 240z are around 25k $.
Cars wont drop from today to tomorrow from 50k to 25k, except there is war or other big crisis. Furthermore the cars getting older, some crash their cars other store them bad and they rust. And more other countries get wealthy, like eastern europe, and new sellers come. The Porsche air cooled bubble is a big lie. I wouldn't say there is no bubble, but the bubble is everywhere, all cars, cryptos, real estate, stock market.

Quite the opposite, in fact. Kill yourself. Nothing on that car is done with function or survival in mind.
>roads are patrolled by raiders in the wasteland so you want to go overland
>stanced
>tires are for pavement and stretched so they'll bust with the slightest amount of action
>tires aren't even protected at all because they have 12" spacers putting them totally outside the body
>fuel barrel on the roof, easy target, easy to siphon, if it gets punctured then yourself and the entire car is doused in flammable liquid
>car has massive unused space in the back it could have occupied
>half a hood for no discernible reason
>expensive LED lights that are definitely not something you could easily scavenge
>no protection for the LARGE windows
>ladder up to the top when the car is lowered so any non-manlet could reach the barrel by standing normally
>plow AND a bullbar, do you want to shove things out of the way or just shove them? make up your mind
The whole point of mad max "style" is function over form. Powerful cars with powerful drivetrains jacked up on huge offroading tires so they can handle anything, armored to protect the driver, with other survival-related mods. If that thing actually saw the apocalypse, the driver would be dead the first time he had to roll over a baseball-sized rock. What a goddamn fuckboi. I hate people who try to emulate things they think are cool without even understanding WHY they are that way. It's like steampunk fags gluing random gears and valves on shit without even making the teeth on said gears mesh.

As a collector, I can tell you that the large rubber wheels and the different shade of blue paint denote that car to be a Treasure Hunt car. TH cars, made in limited numbers of 10,000 per car, per year, can easily be sold for as much as 50x what you paid for them.
The NSX in this picture shows the non-TH version.
