480 best
can someone explain the hype for the 850 to me?
is it just the engine people like, or does it have other redeemable qualities?

I'm looking to get this as one of my potential next cars, what is yours like?
>>17224289
I was thinking about getting a used v70 with the 2.5t ~2004 to present
Any other volvos i should look out for on craigslist? Needs to be relatively new
been drooling after 960 wagon for awhile now
good ones are either too fucking far or expensive

more like the engine with a turbo is rly good stock
spool up is around 2500 rpms so you get crazy torque early
and they're cheap now since the majority are all past 150,000 miles
the chassis is really good for unibody as well, but the ride leaves something to be desired
it makes an amazing highway cruiser, i get like 32-35 mpg on long trips going 75

The pain I felt that day... [looks off to the horizon]
I'm thinking about getting a used Volvo as my next car but I don't know where to start. I want a sedan or wagon. Best bang for the buck <$15k?
>>17225861
I don't have one yet duder, I've got a Volvo 360 atm because I'm 18 and the insurance was pennies compared to anything else and I wanted a cheap entry drifter.
If you're getting one go for the turbo else it'll feel a little heavy but they're good cars in all, they get a lot of stick because of their unusual (for Volvo) design.
I'm planning on getting one as a daily once I've got something decent on the road.

Where are you from, what do you want from one and what sort of era?
>>17226093
Central Indiana. I currently drive a 2010 Jetta 2.5 automatic, I want to replace it with another automatic as a daily driver (~50 miles/day) just not a shitbox Honda with CVT.
I like mid/full size sedans and wagons. Fuel economy is secondary to drivability.
Era: no fucking clue that's why I'm here.

I'm not sure about pricing over there but if I was in your situation I'd spring for a used 2007 - 2016 V50 and potentially save a stack of cash
You'll have a leather interior, heated seats and a decent wagon at a pretty low price range (assuming pricing doesn't vary excessively)
